VS Communicator 4 Updates

VS Communicator 4 Software

The latest version of VS Communicator 4 is version 4.2.0000, released September 12, 2008.

To get the latest version, run Communicator, select Help > Check for Updates. The latest version is downloaded and installed on your computer.

Note that this process may take some time because of the relatively large download.

Alternatively, contact support to receive a link to the latest version. We kindly ask you to mention your serial number in the e-mail.

SymbolStix® Symbolset

SymbolStix® was updated together with Communicator 4.2 (September 12, 2008).

You can download the latest version of the symbols here. The symbols will only be accessible from within VS Communicator 4. The installer contains the following languages: US English, German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian.

Note that the SymbolStix® is not updated if you use "Check for Updates" from within Communicator.

Free Communicator Photos Picture Library

Viking Software has put together a photo-realistic symbol library consisting of about 300 pictures. The images are outlined to make it easier for early learners to interpret their meaning. The symbols will only be accessible from within VS Communicator 4.

You can download the symbols here. The installer contains the following languages: US English, German, Dutch, Swedish, Danish, Norwegian.
