Chat/Instant Messaging: Several improvements have been made to the Chat/Instant Messaging feature of the program. New page sets have been designed. The Chat Settings dialog has been simplified. The feature has undergone testing and stabilization since the initial release in Communicator 4.1.

X-10 IR signals with Gewa units: Added support for recording signals using Gewa’s alternative learning method. This method must be used in order to record X-10 signals (among others).

Improved scan tool: The Scan Tool (available in the Edit Tools box Edit View) has been simplified. It now behaves more like the other tools in Edit View (Picture Tool, Content Tool, etc).

Improved Edit Tools: Therapists have reported some work-flow issues with the Edit Tools in Edit View. We have made changes to these so that any change made to a button is saved unless the therapist explicitly presses the Close button in the tool dialog. Earlier versions would discard changes e.g. if another button was pressed in the background.
