Place calls with cell phone
New in this version is that the user can place calls or receive incoming calls with a cell phone.
Previous versions of VS Communicator 3 have supported sending and receiving text messages with a connected cell phone. This version includes support for more cell phone features, which gives end-users the possibility to talk to other people independently.
Depending on the end-user, the phone can be used in several ways. The user may speak with his or her own voice or with synthesized speech. The user can also choose where he or she wants to hear the voice from the other person(s) in the phone conversation: on the loudspeakers on the PC or in a headset.
Please see the Accessories page for a list of supported cell phones, and the capabilities of each cell phone.
Important: Only available in VS Communicator 3 Pro.

Prepare conversations with Phrase Lists
The feature My Phrases has been extended so that you can create several lists of phrases. Phrases can be used to write common phrases faster, or pronounce common phrases faster. You can now create one phrase list for greetings, one phrase list that you use when in a restaurant, etc.
With the new display Call with Cell Phone you can speak efficiently using phrases. Before you place the call, you can also prepare for the conversation by creating a phrase list with the phrases you know you will need for this conversation.

Environmental control with Tira2.1
In version 3.20 we have added support for another environmental control device, the Tira2.1. Earlier versions have included support for environmental control with Gewa Prog III and other compatible Gewa units. The Tira2.1 device is connected to the USB port, and lets you send infrared signals from VS Communicator to control your TV, video, stereo, etc. You can even control lights, doors, etc in your home if your home devices have been prepared for it.
The Tira2.1 device is an affordable infrared sender that works very well with VS Communicator. See the Accessories page for more information.
