VS Communicator 3 is offered in three different editions. Each edition focuses on a different set of needs. Make sure you get the one that suits you best.
VS Communicator 3 Pro: The complete package. All communication and on-screen features are included. E-mail, text messaging and environmental control.
VS Communicator 3 Standard: All commmunication and on-screen features are included. Excludes e-mail, text messaging and environmental control.
VS Communicator 3 On-Screen: On-screen keyboard features only. Suitable for user who input text directly into other Windows programs such as Microsoft Word.

Motion impaired users and persons in need of communication
aid enjoy a uniform yet customizable system that is easy to
learn. Equally important, as the user's needs change, the personal assistant
will find that it is very easy to make changes to the communication boards.
Assistants can move or edit the buttons in the same manner as in a painting
program.

With communication boards created in VS Communicator 3 Pro users
can send and receive text messages (cell phone messaging) and e-mail
directly from within the communication board.
Literate users can utilize Communicator's full-featured
messaging interface inspired by popular e-mail systems such as Microsoft's HotMail.
Communicator's messaging technology is a big step towards one of our main
goals, namely to include children with disabilities in the community.
Mentally handicapped users can be supported by symbols and auditory feedback
in the message creation process. The complex task of sending messages
(both e-mails and cell phone messages) is reduced to clicking on the receiver's picture
on the screen, whether by mouse, touch screen, switches, or any other popular alternative
input device.

On-Screen Keyboards

VS Communicator is also a very powerful on-screen keyboard, with a number
of options for fine-tuning performance. Very efficient word prediction software
enables the user to type fast and with high precision. Communicator comes with a
host of different keyboards, so that anyone can find one that covers their needs.
Also included are keyboards customised for surfing the web, in addition to many
special-purpose displays for controlling external programs such as
Internet Explorer, Word, Wordpad, etc. The user gains full control over the
Windows Taskbar, allowing even switch users to run and select between programs.

Custom-Made Communication Boards

VS Communicator is a great tool for making your own communication boards.
Create your own custom-design boards with
the built-in dynamic display drawing environment.
Draw all kinds of shapes with custom colors,
frames, pictures and text like you would do in a
typical drawing program. Designing your own
communication boards is as easy as drawing
a rectangle in Microsoft Paint!
The shapes you have drawn can afterwards be given whichever function you want,
such as speaking a text, turn on the TV, or even send an e-mail!
If you want to, you can use either templates or one of the ready-made displays as a starting
point for creating your own communication boards.

Scanning For Switch Users

All access panels created in VS Communicator
automatically has support for scanning. All the buttons you
draw can be accessed using a variety of scanning techniques.
Our amibition was from the very beginning, that Communicator
should be the best scan system in the world. With Communicator,
you can choose between different pre-defined scan techniques,
preserving your option to fine-tune the settings is you need.

VS Communicator is shipped with several fun small games, and several more are being developed.
The games are free and new ones are made available as they are
finished. The standard installation contains Memor, Tic-Tac-Toe,
Fiver and Jigz. People with a little programming experience
can create their own Communicator games!
